With my summer vacation (finally!) on the horizon, I can't help but have resort wear on the brain. I think the things you wear on vacation should be your absolute favorites - items you can't wear in your normal day-to-day life, the things you long to wear all year round. They should transform and transport. For me, that always means an exotic print, a new silhouette, and as many tassels as possible.

The (wannabe) surfer girl in me is completely obsessed with these handmade espadrilles from Kaanas shoes via Calypso St. Barth. Woven in Colombia, they incorporate patterns inspired by the Wayuu tribe. With their traditional shape and fun pattern, I think they add the perfect modern element to an otherwise bohemian look.
